Creativity, the process and love of art

My work celebrates the seasonal changes with an emphasis on a classic look using graphic design and modern printing. I’ve always loved the classic warm tone of older photographic prints. This is the stepping stone from which I derive my style.The cameras I work with a both film and digital. In my online gallery you will notice each film negative displayed with the print. Executing this type of work takes an understanding on how to be particular about each shot. This is the time honored tradition that film demands. I love it! The digital process offers rewards in it’s own way. It is more forgiving when it comes to work-ability, but still requires the same amount of creativity.

Film photography is huge. It is not dead as many articles like to state. There are a small communities of art lovers who love it’s purity. Which I feel, and hope, never fade.
